Hello there, thanks for popping by to learn more about me. I'm flattered.

I'm 5ft 4, full of energy and ideas.
In my spare time, I like to cycle everywhere, get zen with meditation and yoga, watch heaps of films,  experiment in the kitchen, and immerse myself in design.
I'm currently a full-time designer and art director at The Southbank Centre, working on a broad range of comms for artistic events such as Meltdown, Hayward Gallery Exhibitions, and more. Previously, I was a conceptual art director with 18 years of experience working at The Guardian and several large London agencies, including HHCL, The & Partnership, MCBD (now Dare) Wieden+Kennedy, and McGarryBowen to name a few.
In Jan 2019, I took a step back from advertising and realised that although I really love conceptual creativity, what I missed more than anything was actually making and designing.
I decided I wanted to be more hands-on and set out to find a way to diversify my talents to other areas of design that I am passionate about. That's where Shillington came in, and after three months on and a year and a half at Southbank, now not only do I think, but I make.
As my old copywriter put it -
"Now you can MAKE AND DO whatever's in that crazy
head of yours".
- and I'm not going to lie, that feels massively empowering!
So for my skills:
I conceptulise, and design, I am competent in the Adobe Creative Suite. I now create logos, short animations, websites and apps, produce packaging, typeset, get geeky about typography, create strategy, wireframes, card count, and make kooky sculpture art. And I am always looking for new people, brands and projects to put my super upskilling to work.
